The Power of Anchored VWAP

And 2nd Day Plays

I hope everyone had a great week last week. I did extremely well in all my accounts. The small rabbit account made about 15k and I started using tradersync as it is just easier to upload the trades. To review the trades and/or keep up with the journal, here is the link.

I want to go over a few of the trade ideas from last weeks letter.

I want to focus on the names in the image below:

NFLX was an ICBD that turned into a Rev Strat and then broke the ICBW. All of these are possible entries using those edges. Another one is simply using VP and AVWAP.

As will be the case for all of the charts below, we use the AVWAP zone as over/under. You can see the result and how playing the AVWAP zone as over/under paid out well.

TWLO gapped down to AVWAP, held, and went sideways the rest of the week. It was still a profitable play that allowed for a free play setup by taking partial profits and putting a hard stop at entry.

GE gapped down to AVWAP perfectly and rallied. Another perfect setup that paid.

Meta gapped below the AVWAP zone. The rules for buying back after the zone breaks down is for the price action to reach the VAH of the zone and retest the POC/AVWAP. This happened 2 times on meta and paid out well.

RCL gapped well below the AVWAP zone and rejected it a number of times. This is where you remain patient and let it prove that it has the power to get over the zone and buy the retest. On this particular one, I never got a retest I liked so it didn’t allow me an entry. I was kept safe per the rules.

TEAM and IBM worked for a small winner as well.

To better understand how to play these setups, here are some videos from my YouTube page.

Zones and rules for Over/Under

These can also be used for shorting. I will also use these same edges for this week on companies that reported strong earnings last week such as PLTR, NET, PINS, AFRM, TTWO to name a few.

Let me know if these reviews help and I’ll make an effort to do them as often as I can. Have a great weekend!
